Sunday June 21 vs Greenwich Pumas 9 Am Guilford High School

Gentleman,

      Please note that after sunday's well deserved win vs Tip Top and a loss by Shelton, we have moved up a notch to 7 th place over all.

Remember Yemo talk about mathematics... If all goes well the next 2 matches and the front runnes who will be playing each other cancel out each other, we have a great oppurtunity to move further up the line.

But, for now, we need to concentrate on Greenwich Pumas who beat Shelton 3-2 Sunday.

We are at home this sunday at the Guilford High School, the game is at 9 Am

Please be on the field by 8:30 am. I don't have to tell you the importance of this match as we have come along a long way the last 4 matches.

A win certainly guarantees us that we belong in this league and that we are not a push over the way we started the first 3 games, but importantly, it is a great way to start the new season that begin mid August.

I also know that it is Father's day. With that,we have an early match and will finish early enough to get home and have your love ones prepare your best dish you hadn't had for a while.. I am counting on each of you to be there on sunday. We have 2 weeks left than off for the summer. Let's finish the season out in an upbeat winning fashion...you'll enjoy the summer even more.

With a win sunday, a loss by Shelton and Danbury (they are both playing formidable opponents), we would move ahead of Danbury to 6th place. I think Gunners will will this week.

And I know, this time of the year, every team is struggling to put their best team on the field especially those that have nothing to gain like Shelton, Danbury I know Wilton, Cheshire, Greenwich Pumas and CT storm will fight to get to first place.

Let's concentrate on defeating one of these teams this week.

Next week we are also at home at the high school vs SE Rovers, our prenennial rivals. They will be fighting this week vs Trumbull to stay in the league and then us next week. So both of these games are very important for us.

Yemo will be the refreshmentsSunday.
